Embrace Vulnerability, Discover Healing Within
My approach is trauma-informed and person-centered, grounded in respect for each individual’s unique story and cultural background. I integrate mindfulness, somatic practices, Internal Family Systems, Cognitive Processing Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, and Polyvagal Theory to help clients build self-awareness, strengthen resilience, and create meaningful, lasting change.
A Few Methods for Treatment We Practice
Humanistic / Person-Centered Therapy
This approach is grounded in the belief that you have the inner wisdom to grow and heal. In therapy, you’re met with empathy, respect, and unconditional support—creating a space where you can safely explore, reflect, and move toward greater self-understanding and authenticity.
Mindfulness-Based Therapy
Mindfulness therapy helps you slow down and notice your thoughts, emotions, and body sensations without judgment. By learning to stay present, you can respond to life with more clarity, calm, and self-compassion—even during difficult moments..
Polyvagal Therapy
Polyvagal Therapy helps you understand how your body reacts to stress and why you might feel anxious, shut down, or overwhelmed. By learning how your nervous system works, you can begin to feel safer, calmer, and more connected—in your body and in your relationships
Internal Family Systems (IFS)
IFS helps us understand the different parts of ourselves—like the ones that protect us, the ones that feel hurt, or the ones that feel stuck. Instead of pushing these parts away, we learn to listen to them with kindness. This process helps us feel more balanced, connected, and grounded in our true self.
Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT)
CBT helps you notice how your thoughts, feelings, and behaviors are connected. By learning to shift unhelpful thought patterns, you can better manage stress, improve mood, and respond to life’s challenges in healthier ways.
Somatic Therapy
Somatic therapy focuses on the connection between your body and mind. It helps you tune into physical sensations, release stored tension, and gently process emotions through body-based practices—supporting healing, regulation, and a deeper sense of safety within yourself.
Something to note…
Counseling treatment approaches vary in technique and focus, and together, we’ll work to find a tailored approached for you.
“We can only change the patterns we’re part of by changing our own steps in the dance.”
