How long are therapy sessions?
Most sessions are 50–55 minutes long. Occasionally, sessions may be slightly shorter or longer depending on your needs and schedule. We’ll work together to find a rhythm that feels supportive and manageable.
Do you offer teletherapy?
Yes. I offer secure, HIPAA-compliant teletherapy sessions. This can be a convenient option for many clients. If you choose teletherapy, I kindly ask that you schedule during a time when you can be fully present—this is your time, and it matters.
How much is a session?
Sessions are $130 per 55-minute hour.
How often do I need to schedule?
There’s no one-size-fits-all answer. Many clients start with weekly sessions, especially in the beginning, and adjust over time based on needs and goals. Some prefer to begin more gradually by meeting bi-weekly or monthly. We’ll create a plan that supports your growth and fits your life.
Do you take insurance?
I’m currently in-network with Aetna, Cigna, Carelon Behavioral Health, and Quest Behavioral Health. However, coverage is not guaranteed, so I recommend checking with your insurance provider to confirm your mental health benefits, deductible, and copay.
For all other insurance plans, I’m considered an out-of-network provider. I can provide a detailed receipt (superbill) for you to submit for possible reimbursement. Please note that reimbursement depends on your plan and is not guaranteed.
What is a Good Faith Estimate?
The No Surprises Act gives you the right to receive a Good Faith Estimate of the cost of services if you’re not using insurance.
You can expect to receive a written estimate at least one business day before your appointment. This estimate will include the total expected cost of your care.If you receive a bill that is at least $400 more than your Good Faith Estimate, you can dispute the charge.
